What is epoxy?
Epoxy is best known as a type of durable protective coating that provides a high level of bonding properties that are far superior to most ordinary floor coating and protection systems.
It's a system that is made up of two main components - resins and hardeners. The resin and hardener is mixed together where they chemically react to form a rigid plastic material that is strong, resistant to degradation and that bonds extremely well to its substrate.
Epoxy floors are so strong that they can be used in even the most demanding of industrial environments.
How does this differ from a do-it yourself epoxy kit?
The short answer is the epoxy paint kits sold at the hardware stores are really just fortified paints. We use 100% solid industrial grade low VOC polymers designed for high adhesion and high performance.
How long does my new floor take to cure?
Epoxy materials are affected by weather conditions during the process. The cure speed will halve for every 10°C that the temperature increases and double for every 10 °C that it decreased. A coating that has a tack free time of 6 hours at 20°C will be touch dry in 3 hours at 30°C and 12 hours at 10°C.Cure time of water based epoxy coatings are highly affected by humidity.

What happens if we already have equipments in place?
Every project we have completed has equipments installed prior to our coatings installation.
We have a variety of surface preparation equipment that allows us to get up-to and under lifts, racks, tables and other floor mounted items.
What if our concrete floor is heavily damaged and stained?
No problem. Prior to applying any coatings, our staff will prepare the concrete using the following methods:
- Diamond grinding
- Crack chasing and fill
- Spall repair
Our goal is to make every floor a showpiece.
What if we want a logo in the floor?
We can install logo into the coatings. Depending upon the system, some logo may or may not display well.
Why is epoxy flooring better than tile or paint?
Unlike floor paint or tiles, an epoxy floor coating is going to stay stuck to the concrete, tolerate frequent cleaning and hold up to the daily wear-and-tear.
Our floor coating solutions utilise industrial grade epoxies and high-wear urethanes and rock-hard polyaspartics.
No floor paints here. No tiles to replace. Just long-lasting, high performance coatings.
Can I pick the colours I want and order them in the combination I choose?
Yes, we offer over 200 standard floor colour selections and a wide variety of pre-mixed patterns to choose from. Plus you can choose unlimited custom floor colours and chip mixes, and we’ll install logos and custom floor designs.
I need a floor that can tolerate lots of spillage of the cleaners and oils I use. Will these chemicals soak into your finishes?
No, our surfaces are solvent, chemical and oil resistant, which includes all common solvents and household cleaners. If you have a question about a specific solvent, give us a call.
Also, we consume UV resistant products which are virtually unaffected by UV so they won’t yellow like other products.
Do you offer non-slip surfaces?
Yes, we can include an anti-slip additive in all applications to minimize the possibility of slipping and to meet safety requirements.
Would your floors be appropriate for a kitchen or freezer?
Yes, our floors are excellent for use in food processing areas. Our flooring process seals concrete surfaces to prevent microbial contamination, and we use a sanitary, no seam process which prevents microorganism growth. The non-slip aspects of our floors are also important in preventing accidental slips and falls due to fluids spills, and make clean up easy for staff.
